Kiwanis Pancake Day tickets on sale

The 57th annual Kiwanis Club Pancake Day and Funfest is June 7, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast, silent auction, games for kids and live music.

The Grand Junction Jackalopes baseball team’s mascot will be there to greet kids, and two season tickets are included in the silent auction. Brown’s Cycles will feature a bike ride from Main Street to the fairgrounds.

Tickets cost $10 per person, or a book of 10 tickets is $80. Children under age 12 eat for free.

Tickets can be purchased: at Mesa Benefits, 2232 N. Seventh St., Suite 14, in Grand Junction; online at kiwanis-gj.org; and at the door on the day of the event.

Proceeds from Pancake Day are donated to local nonprofit organizations that help children. Past recipients include the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Catholic Outreach, Western Slope Center for Children, Strive, Special Olympics and Harmony Aces Equestrian Center.
