Luminate Bank announced it is partnering with local mortgage experts Merica Street and Mary Jane Douma, who own and co-founded Merica & Mary Jane, A Division of Luminate Bank. They have more than five decades of combined experience in the mortgage-lending industry in western Colorado.

“We both have our roots firmly planted in the Grand Valley and understand that our business is not just transactional. It’s about building relationships, understanding client needs and lighting the way to the right path for every client,” Merica Street said.

Merica & Mary Jane, A Division of Luminate Bank, is located at 1114 N. First St., Suite 101, in Grand Junction. They offer conventional loans, FHA loans, VA loans and USDA loans.

Street has worked in the mortgage business since finishing high school. Douma was raised on a small farm in Loma and began her career at a local credit bureau.
