Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County officially opened its Homeownership Program at the beginning of March.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a homeowner, now is the time to get started. Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County is offering information sessions throughout March, with the final sessions taking place on March 31. These sessions cover eligibility guidelines, income requirements, program expectations, sweat equity and what the journey to homeownership looks like with Habitat for Humanity.
The Homeownership Program is designed for individuals and families who need safe, affordable housing, can afford a monthly mortgage payment and are willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County through volunteer hours and homeownership education.
Applications may be submitted after attending an information session. Because attendance is required, HFHMC encourages interested community members to sign up soon.
