The Cedaredge-based Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center (GMAEC) will host the third annual Grand Mesa Songwriter Festival on June 5-7.
The festival will feature the music of 22 singer-songwriters and will be headlined by Rodney Crowell, a multi-Grammy Award winner and inductee into the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.
Weekend passes to attend Crowell’s one-night-only concert already are sold out. However, tickets are still available for “Rounds Only” and Sunday workshops. The Rounds Only Pass allows the purchaser access to the songwriter rounds on Friday and Saturday only. It does NOT include access to the headliner show on Saturday night at GMAEC or the Sunday Morning songwriter meet and greet.
This year’s downtown Cedaredge venues include GMAEC’s Bank of Colorado Theater and the Art Garage as well as The Pondy Dance Hall, the River Burch Gallery, Feels Like Coming Home, and Starr’s Guitars, plus the 290 Building, which once served as the town’s Odd Fellows Hall.
