The annual Kiwanis Pancake Day and Fun Fest will take place June 6, 8 to 11 a.m. at the Mesa County Fairgrounds.

Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction is now accepting corporate sponsorships for this year’s event. Corporate sponsorships range from $275 to $2,500 and include sponsor promotion at the event and Pancake Day tickets.

Proceeds from Pancake Day are donated to local nonprofit organizations that help children. Recipients in the past have included Colorado Discoverability, Girl Scouts, HopeWest, STRIVE, Special Olympics of Grand Junction, Kids Aid Backpack Program, Harmony Acres Equestrian Center and Riverside Education Center. In the past 10 years, the Kiwanis Foundation has invested more than $1 million into Mesa County organizations.

Pancake Day includes a silent auction, live music and activities for children and the whole family. Individual tickets at the door cost $10, and kids age 12 years and under get in free.
