The Fruita Foundation will host its annual Monumental Lights Gala on June 5, 6 to 9 p.m., at Monument Vista Place at the base of the Colorado National Monument.
This year’s event will directly support the Foundation’s mission of strengthening the community through education, workforce development and cultural preservation. Funds raised will benefit local scholarships, the expansion of youth entrepreneurship opportunities, and the upcoming launch of the Kids in Business program, an initiative designed to equip young people with real-world business experience.
The event will feature: catering by local entrepreneurs Jacob and Grace Sebesta of GJ Fusion; craft beverages from Reckless Brewing Company, including their “What the Fundraiser” beer, which gives back to the Foundation; and live entertainment from Hot Tub Jazz, a jazz quartet led by Scott Betts.
In 2025, the Monumental Lights Gala raised more than $8,400 to support student entrepreneurship and scholarships. This year, the Foundation aims to expand its impact further by investing in the next generation of Fruita’s workforce and business leaders.
“This event is about more than one night, it’s about building a stronger future for Fruita,” Fruita Foundation Board President Laura Smith said. “Every ticket purchased is an investment in our youth, our businesses and our community.”
Tickets are limited and community members are encouraged to reserve their seats early at fruitachamber.org/fruita/foundation.
