Mike Finton, a technical writer with S.M. Stoller in Grand Junction, has completed a writing project of a different kind as the author of a new novel titled “The Savior’s Guardian.”

Finton’s first published book offers a sweeping historical saga set in the biblical Middle East. The plot follows a high-ranking captain of the guard from Persia from the birth to the crucifixion of Christ. Finton and his wife actually traveled to many of the locations Finton describes in the Christian-themed story.

Brass Frog Bookworks, an independent publishing and marketing company based in Grand Junction, published “The Savior’s Guardian.” The book is available from the Web site at www.brassfrogbookworks.com. An electronic version of the book soon will be available.
