Matthew Martinez, a staff audit accountant with Dalby, Wendland & Co. in Grand Junction has earned designation as a certified public accountant.
Martinez passed the Unified Certified Public Accountant examination, a four-part test covering attestation, auditing, business environment and concepts, financial accounting and reporting and regulation.
Martinez joined Dalby, Wendland & Co. in 2014 as an intern and later worked as a staff accountant. He transitioned to the audit team in 2015. He analyzes financial information and prepares reports and schedules.
Martinez holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in business administration from Colorado Mesa University. He’s a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Colorado Society of CPAs as well as the Kiwanis Club and Young Professionals Network of Mesa County.
