Registration is under way for a presentation on personal motivation and team building during stressful times.
The Book Cliff Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) has scheduled the presentation as part of its Oct. 20 meeting.
The event is set for 6 p.m. at Two Rivers Convention Center, located at 159 Main St. in Grand Junction.

The presentation will feature Bill Beausay, former director of research and development at the Academy of Sports Psychology, author of nearly 20 books, professional speaker and trainer.
Beausay completed work on his doctoral degree at the University of Toledo and spent 10 years in a clinical practice before becoming a writer and speaker on personal growth and professional success.
More than 1 million copies of his books, which include three national bestsellers, have been distributed around the world. He has conducted presentations, sales training and symposiums for dozens of Fortune 500 firms and numerous other organizations. He has been featured in newspaper and magazine stories and on television and radio broadcasts across the United States.
In Grand Junction, Beausay will deliver a presentation titled “Personal Power and Creating Miracles When You’re Done In, Fed Up and Stressed Out.”
Beausay will teach participants how to harness the dynamics of creating and focusing a vision, controlling themselves in a simple and practical new way and aligning themselves inside and out, mentally and in action. The presentation is designed to help participants regain control over important parts of their lives and to offer them tools they can use immediately.
The IAAP, a professional association for office professionals, represents about 40,000 members and affiliates with nearly 600 chapters worldwide. The group promotes the professional success of its members through educational, community building and leadership development programs and events.
