The Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado announced it awarded $50,000 in funding to 10 community-led projects through its 2025 AGNC Mini-Grant Funding.

The program is made possible through an Energy/Mineral Impact Assistance Fund Grant awarded to AGNC by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, which is then passed along to municipalities in Northwest Colorado.

The 10 mini grants included money for: security camera installation at the Fruita Community Center; a Town of Palisade economic development and planning analytics initiative; and a bike-trail project in De Beque.
