Allegiant marks decade of air service in Grand Junction

Allegiant marked a decade of providing commercial air service out of the Grand Junction Regional Airport, transporting a total of more than 385,000 passengers between Grand Junction and Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

“We are pleased to be celebrating 10 years of Allegiant service in Grand Junction. We are proud to continue to offer Grand Junction travelers a convenient and affordable way to take a vacation,” said Jude Bricker, chief operating officer of Allegiant.

Kip Turner, executive director of the Grand Junction Regional Airport, said Allegiant offers direct service to two of the top three origin and destination markets out of Grand Junction. “We are excited to celebrate this milestone anniversary with Allegiant and treasure their continued service to and from GJT.”

Allegiant launched service between Grand Junction and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas on July 26, 2006. Allegiant subsequently added a seasonal route between Grand Junction and Los Angeles International Airport.
