Alpine Bank has contributed $50,000 to the construction of a new medical arts building in Gunnison.
The building will house an urgent care facility as well as a family medicine and specialty clinics, an orthopedic center and behavioral health services.
The building is an effort of Gunnison Valley Health, a health care system operated by Gunnison County that includes a hospital and offers a range of services.
“Alpine Bank knows how important health care is to any community. It is an honor to help support the efforts of GVH to make Gunnison a better place to work, live and raise a family,” said Tom Kenning, chief administration officer for Alpine Bank. “We believe this new facility will do just that.”
Rob Santilli, chief executive officer of Gunnison Valley Health, praised the donation. “Alpine Bank understood our vision to bring together a network of integrated services in one building that will be recognizable to the Gunnison Valley community.”
