Alpine Bank has agreed to serve as the title sponsor of annual wine festivals in Glendale and Palisade, the first time a single business has made that commitment to both events.
Alpine Bank will sponsor the Colorado Urban Winefest set for June 7 in Infinity Park in Glendale and the Colorado Mountain Winefest set for Sept. 23 in Riverbend Park in Palisade.
The wine festivals serve as fund-raisers for the Colorado Association of Viticulture and Enology, a trade group for winegrape growers and wineries.
“Alpine Bank is excited to announce our new partnership with CAVE and the production of Colorado Mountain Winefest and Urban Winefest,” said Clay Tufly, regional president for Alpine Bank in the Grand Valley. “The partnership allows us to support not only the local vineyards and wineries, but our community as a whole. CAVE is a great asset to our state in serving to educate consumers and industry leaders about the benefits and unique aspects of Colorado’s wine industry.”
CAVE promotes the interests of grape growers and wineries in legislative and political matters, provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and disseminates information about agricultural and wine making practices.
Cassidee Shull, executive director of CAVE, said she was thrilled with the support from Alpine Bank. “We are proud to grow along with Alpine Bank in its expansion throughout the Western Slope and now Denver.”
