ANB Bank has announced plans to remodel its facility in downtown Grand Junction.
The $2 million project is scheduled for completion in January. The bank, located at 131 N. Sixth St., will remain open during construction.
“We value the community of Grand Junction and are excited to invest in this major renovation of our flagship building to enhance the service we provide,” said Vance Wagner, regional president of ANB Bank. “Our downtown banking center and its legacy have been a cornerstone of this community since 1890 and supports our philosophy of providing full-service banking; high-level, personalized service; and true, local community banking.”
When the work is completed, the renovated ANB Bank will feature an open-concept lobby; safe deposit boxes, four updated drive-up lanes, including a commercial lane; and a customer parking lot.
The ANB Bank will occupy about 5,200 square feet of the 26,000-square-foot building, while central support operations for the bank will occupy about 6,800 square feet. That will leave about 14,000 square foot of space available for tenant leasing.
Bryan Construction, a construction management and contracting firm based in Colorado Springs, will oversee the project.
A member of the Sturm Financial Group based in Denver, ANB Bank operates a total of 30 locations in Colorado, Wyoming and Kansas.
