Tiara Rado Animal Hospital in Grand Junction offers what’s described as concierge cat care designed to make trips to the veterinarian less traumatic.

The care includes safe transportation and check-in procedures as well as a separate entrance and more cat-friendly examination room.

“We collaborate with owners to keep their cat comfortable. We have carriers and advise owners on how to get their cat accustomed to and into the carrier,” said Bob Marquis, a veterinarian who owns Tiara Rado Animal Hospital. “Car rides are especially stressful, so we offer free, safe sedation to calm cats.”

“Our goal is to improve the health and life span of cats by making routine checkups easy,” Marquis said. “Symptoms of illness are not easy to spot in our feline companions. They are susceptible to kidney disease and tooth decay. It’s best to catch problems early rather than too late.”

Tiara Rado Animal Hospital is located at 2245 3/4 Broadway. For more information, call 243-4007 or visit www.tiararadoanimalhospital.com.
