The program is open to artists 18 and over who live in Mesa County, including visual artists as well as musicians, sound technicians, videographers and writers.
Three artists will be selected to serve 15-week terms in 2018 and receive $500 stipends from the Mesa County Libraries Foundation. Artists present programs to the community during their residencies.
Located near the intersection of Fifth Street and Ouray Ave., the 970West Studio includes a multimedia production studio and training room as well as a control room. The facility offers a place in which to record and produce a variety of creative works in digital formats.
