Applications will be accepted through May 31 for the next leadership class offered by the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Mesa County Leadership Program is designed develop community leaders through a series of classes and field trips covering a range of issues and topics.
Many of the more than 340 graduates of the program over the years have gone on to serve on local boards and commissions as well as run for elected offices.
Classes are set to begin in the fall and will continue through May 2018, offering more than 60 hours of training.
