Applications will be accepted through Aug. 15 for the latest round of marketing grants offered by the Colorado Tourism Office.
In addition, a new grant program offers funding for projects and technical assistance in developing the tourism industry.
The Colorado Tourism Office has increased funding for its marketing matching grant program by $100,000, bringing to $700,000 total funding for the 2019 fiscal year. The program offers funding for not-for-profit organizations to market a region or the state as a tourism destination.
For large marketing grants up to $25,000, the Colorado Tourism Office will match dollar for dollar the money the awarded organization allocates. Up to 20 percent of the match may include services or materials. For small marketing grants up to $10,000, the Colorado Tourism Office will provide $1 in matching funds for every 25 cents the awarded organization allocates.
Grants of up to $15,000 will be awarded through the new project and technical assistance program. The program offers funding for city and county governments and not-for-profit tourism organizations for new efforts and initiatives that contribute to the development of the tourism industry statewide.
Applications for the marketing matching grant program will be accepted online through 5 p.m. Aug. 15. Applications for the project and technical assistance grant program will be accepted online through 5 p.m. Jan. 2.
