Applications will be accepted until March 3 for the latest round of grants distributed by the Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District.

The district distributes federal mineral leasing funds to local public entities to support infrastructure, construction and public service projects. Grants are available under programs to support large-scale public works and capital projects as well as mini grants of up to $50,000 for smaller projects. The district has about $700,000 in funding for the 2017 grant cycles.
