Devan Penniman has scheduled a variety of public classes and workshops through August as the latest artist in residence at the Mesa County Libraries 970West Studio in Grand Junction.
Penniman specializes in paper and printing and said she enjoys bringing people together through art. “Through my artist in residency, I am hoping to share my love of paper-based goods with my community. I love letterpress printing, and I love being able to share it with people.”
In addition to open studio hours from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 12 at the 970West Studio at 502 Ouray Ave., Penniman has scheduled classes and workshops on paper making and marbling, letterpress printing and bookbinding.
