Artist to display work at framing shop

Sheryl Williams, an alcohol ink artist from Delta, will display her work during July at Frame Depot in Grand Junction.

A reception is set for 1 to 4 p.m. July 11 at the framing store, located at 529 Bogart Lane.

Williams focuses on painting wildlife in a photo realistic style. She taught herself watercolor techniques and developed a style that features detailed work created by painting with an almost dry brush. She teaches alcohol ink techniques online to students around the world.
