Auto body shops earns collision care certification

Perri’s Collision Repair & Refinishing in Grand Junction has earned designation as a Certified Collision Care Provider.

Assured Performance Collision Care, a nonprofit consumer advocacy organization, awards the designation to collision repair businesses that have passed an evaluation and inspection process that demonstrates their abilities to properly and safely repair automobiles and restore vehicles to original manufacturer specifications. Less than 5 percent of body shops across the United States meet the certification requirements.

“Consumers need the confidence and peace of mind to know their vehicle is repaired by a shop that has what it takes to ensure the vehicle safety. Perri’s Collision is officially recognized as a Collision Care Provider,” said Scott Biggs, chief executive officer of Assured Performance Collision Care. “They represent the standard by which all other body shops are measured.”

Perri’s Collision operates locations at 569 25 1/2 Road in Grand Junction and 1210 Devereux Road in Glenwood Springs. For more information, call 243-2244 or log on to the Web site at
