Back-to-school vaccine clinic set for Aug. 1

To help families prepare for the upcoming school year, Mesa County Public Health is partnering with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to host a back-to-school vaccine clinic.

The vaccine clinic will take place Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mesa County Public Health Clinic, 510 29 1/2 Road. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Vaccines will be available while supplies last.

Parents need to bring their insurance card and their child’s immunization record. If needed, nurses can check records to see which vaccines are needed. There are programs available for those without insurance.
