Bank launches food and agribusiness lending division

ANB Bank has launched a division offering a variety of loans to farmers, ranchers and other agricultural producers.

The new food and agribusiness lending division operates out of the ANB Bank location in Fort Collins. The division offers a range of financing, including loans on crop production, feedlots, livestock, machinery, real estate and seasonal operations.

“We are excited to further diversify the ANB Bank lending portfolio and look forward to our food and agribusiness lending program providing comprehensive relationship-based financial solutions to existing and prospective clients,” said Koger Propst, president of ANB Bank.

The opening of the division follows the completion of ANB Bank’s acquisition of Capital West Bank and its locations in Fort Collins and Wyoming.

Scott Peterson leads the new division, bringing to his duties more than 20 years of banking and management experience, including agricultural lending.

Keith Robert serves as vice president of the division, offering 30 years of banking experience mostly focused on agricultural production lending.

Chelle Whalert serves as assistant vice president and bring to the team 15 years of experience in underwriting, mostly in the ag sector.

A member of the Sturm Financial Group headquartered in Denver, ANB Bank operates a total of 33 locations in Colorado, Missouri and Wyoming — including four locations in Grand Junction — and has assets of more than $2 billion. For more information, visit the Web site at  www.ANBBank.com.
