Eclectic Beauty has opened in Grand Junction, offering a new home for independent contractors in the health and beauty industry.

Eclectic Beauty is located at 1119 N. First St., Suite H. Contractors pay booth rent, allowing them to offer services at prices they set without having to pay commissions. They also set their own schedules for work.

The salon is open not only to hair stylists, but also estheticians, lash specialists, massage therapists, permanent makeup artists and others.

The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate a grand opening.

“We’re pleased to have Eclectic Beauty as a chamber member,” said Diane Schwenke, president and chief executive officer of the chamber. “We are grateful for businesses like this that keep our community moving forward and our economy strong.”
