A yoga festival is scheduled for Oct. 4 to 6 to raise money and awareness to prevent suicide.
The Grand Valley Yoga Fest will be conducted at Palisade High School and include more than 30 classes offering a variety of types of yoga to participants of all levels. Participants will set their own schedules based on their interests.
Free classes will be offered to youth as well veterans, active military, first responders and vulnerable populations.
The Grand Valley Yoga Fest also will offer free events, including musical performances, panel discussions and a keynote speaker.
Proceeds from the event will go to suicide awareness programs in the Grand Valley.
