A Mesa County-based business plans what it bills as a boot camp for homeowner association boards.
Your HOA Team has scheduled the event for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18 and 25 at A Taste of Heaven Catering, 2817 North Ave. in Grand Junction. Admission is $40 for both sessions through Sept. 12. Additional members from the same board may attend for $30. Admission after Sept. 12 is $60.
The boot camp will cover best business practices, regulatory compliance and proven strategies for running homeowner associations. “Trained boards achieve more with the bonus of spending less time and money,” said Barbara Lucks, founder of Your HOA Team.
While the event is designed for HOA boards, it also will offer information to HOA business partners, real estate agents and others considering involvement with an HOA.
