The Community Hospital Foundation has unveiled donor bricks and pavers to honor people who’ve supported construction of a new hospital in Grand Junction as well as celebrate the growth of the operation.
The Community Hospital Foundation launched the brick fund-raising campaign in 2012 and offered the opportunity to purchase larger pavers starting in 2015. To date, the campaign has raised nearly $90,000 for the hospital.
“This is a great start to the brick and paver program for Community Hospital,” said Chris Thomas, president and chief executive officer of the hospital.
“The unwavering support of our community has helped make us who we are today,” Thomas added. “With the community’s help, we can continue to champion accessible, high quality and cost-effective care for patients in the Grand Valley.”
The bricks and pavers will be installed in a prominent location in front of the new Community Hospital at 2351 G Road.
