Broadband provider seeks applications for veteran expedition

Applications will be accepted through May 28 for a Colorado wilderness expedition designed to help disabled veterans overcome personal challenges.

Rise Broadband, a Colorado-based company that provides Internet and telephone services in 16 states, will fund the No Barriers Warriors expedition in September. Twelve veterans will participate in a week-long expedition that will include a 40-mile wilderness trek.

Participants must live in one of the states Rise Broadband serves and demonstrate a desire to overcome barriers and live a life of purpose. Nominations may be submitted online on the Web site at www.nobarriersusa.org/warriors/expeditions/rise-broadband.

Rise Broadband serves nearly 200,000 commercial and residential accounts. For more information, visit www.risebroadband.com.
