Broncos bringing fan tour to downtown Grand Junction

The Mile High Salute to Fans Tour featuring Denver Broncos football players and cheerleaders is scheduled to stop in downtown Grand Junction on May 8.

The tour stop is set for 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Main Street. The street will be closed for the event.

Presented by U.S. Bank, the 2015 Mile High Salute to Fans Tour will include four day-long trips to cities throughout Colorado.

Current and former Broncos players, cheerleaders and Miles the Broncos mascot will be available for autographs and photos. The Denver Broncos merchandise trailer also will be on hand, offering team apparel and souvenirs for purchase.

The trips also will include visits to schools and hospitals that are closed to the public.
