Community Hospital’s Canyon View Surgery Center has once again been designated one of the Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers for 2026 by U.S. News & World Report.
Community Hospital said in a March 26 news release the recognition “highlights our commitment to delivering superior patient outcomes and safety in outpatient care.”
Out of more than 4,400 facilities evaluated nationwide for 2026, only 21 percent earned the Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers recognition, the news release said. Canyon View Surgery Center distinguished itself in the specialty areas of: Orthopedics and Spine; Urology; and Ophthalmology.
“The Best Ambulatory Surgery Center designation is an incredible achievement,” said Joe Gerardi, chief operating officer and chief nursing officer for Community Hospital. “Our staff worked tirelessly to earn this recognition for the second year in a row. We are extremely proud to offer the highest quality health-care services possible to patients in the Grand Valley and surrounding areas.”
