Car raffle raises $25,000 for Veteran’s Art Center

A Grand Junction business raised more than $25,000 in a raffle in which the prize was a vintage Ford mustang.

Allen Unique Autos raffled off a restored 1967 Ford Mustang as part of its Hot Summer Night car show. Proceeds went to the Veteran’s Art Center.

Tammy Allen, owner of Allen Unique Autos, purchased the car specifically for the raffle and commissioned a custom red, white and blue paint job. Phillip Pe’a of Grand Junction won the car.

Employees of Allen Unique Autos who are also members of the Super Rad Art Jam sold more than 500 of the $50 tickets for the raffle.
