Chamber honors businesses for expansive efforts

Eight companies have been honored for expanding operations in the Grand Valley over the past year that involved a collective $31.6 million in capital investments and created a total of 183 new jobs.

The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce honored the eight companies during its latest quarterly membership luncheon.

The latest Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce business expansion awards went to:

City Market for a capital investment of $24 million and the creation of 136 jobs.

Cendera for a $4 million investment and the creation of four jobs.

Real Property Management Now for a $3 million investment and the creation of seven new jobs.

WBS Coatings for a $450,000 investment and the creation of 25 jobs.

Peterson Plumbing for a $125,000 investment and the creation of three jobs.

Clemmer Welding for a $35,000 investment and one new job.

Appleton Clinic for creating seven new jobs.

Cobb Marketing for creating three new jobs.
