Chamber honors expanding businesses

Six Grand Valley businesses have been recognized for creating a total of more than 600 jobs and making more than $2.3 million in capital investments.

The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce honored the businesses as part of a quarterly membership luncheon.

StarTek was recognized for creating 588 jobs and investing $2 million in its Grand Junction operations. Lewis Engineering was credited with creating 11 positions and investing $1 million.

TWI created 19 jobs, while Atlasta Solar created eight jobs and invested $60,000. Vivax created three jobs and invested $182,000. Absolute Prestige invested $100,000.
