Shawna Greiger, membership director of the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, has graduated from a three-year professional development program presented by the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE).
Graduates attended 18, three-hour classes as well as completed additional independent studies.
“This program has helped me over the years become a better advocate for our community,” Greiger said. “And I have taken the opportunity to apply all the skills I’ve learned through committee work, new programs and even in diplomacy.”
Dave Kilby, president of the WACE, said: “We congratulate all of the graduates and their chambers for having the vision to invest in professional development.”
