Four businesses were recognized for expansions resulting in a total of more than $10 million in capital investments and 39 additional jobs.

The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce honored the businesses during its latest quarterly membership luncheon.

Community Hospital was honored for a $10 million investment and 30 new jobs.

The Carlston Agency, an Allstate Insurance agency, was honored for a $100,000 investment and two jobs.

The Growl Agency, a design and marketing firm, was recognized for a $43,000 investment and four additional jobs.

Carpetland added three jobs.
