Chiropractor joins in Thanksgiving food drive

A Grand Junction chiropractor has once again joined in a national Help a Neighbor in Need food drive to assist the less-fortunate during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Randy Roman and Roman Family Chiropractic will collect donations of canned and nonperishable food items through Nov. 15 at his offices at 2584 Patterson Road. Donations will be distributed through the Food Bank of the Rockies.

Participants who donate food for the drive will receive gift certificates for a complimentary chiropractic consultation and evaluation or a coupon good for $10 off a one-hour massage. “It’s just one small way that chiropractors can have a hands-on impact on health and hunger in our community,” Roman said.

All donations to the food drive will be welcome whether participants want to receive complimentary or discounted services or not, Roman said.
