Donations will be accepted through July 29 for an annual clothing drive conducted by the City of Grand Junction Employees Association.

Gently used and clean clothing and shoes will be collected in containers set up on the west side of the tennis courts in Lincoln Park, located near 12th Street and Gunnison Avenue. New undergarments in their original packaging also will be accepted.

A clothing giveaway is scheduled for 3 to 8 p.m. Aug. 3 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 4 in the Lincoln Park Barn.

City employees conduct the drive every year to collect clothing for those in need, particular those who need clothing for their children as a new school year begins.
