Clifton branch library to close for HVAC installation

Mesa County Libraries plans to close its new Clifton branch to visitors from Oct. 19 to 21 while a heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit is installed.

One HVAC unit was installed at the new building, which opened in August. But a second unit was delayed by supply chain issues.

The unit has been delivered and will be installed during the closure.

The drive-through window on the south side of the Clifton branch, located at 3270 D 1/2 Road,  will open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 19, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 31.

Regular hours and operations at the Clifton branch are expected to resume on Oct. 23.
