Mesa County Clifton Motor Vehicle opened Sept. 14 in its new location, the Clifton Community Campus at 3270 D 1/2 Road.

The move from its former location in the Peach Tree Shopping Center keeps motor-vehicle services available in Clifton while allowing the county to use a county-owned building rather than continue renting space.

Hours of operation and service will remain the same, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Residents will continue to be able to access motor-vehicle services, including vehicle registration, title services, license plates and related transactions.

Mesa County Facilities remodeled the new motor-vehicle section of the Community Campus building, setting up a seating area, workstations and room for all the staff that previously worked at the Peachtree location.
