The FBLA-PBL helps students apply what they learn in the classroom to real world situations through leadership and networking opportunities as well as community service and competition.  Proceeds from the golf tournament will help students participate in state and national academic competitions.

“The CMU Future Business Leaders of America organization stresses the importance of students and community business leaders interacting and forming lasting relationships.  The annual tournament not only provides a way for students to take part in state and national academic competition, it also provides valuable outreach to the business communities they may one day be a part of,” said Deborah Parman, a CMU professor who serves as an adviser to the group.
