CMU business students plan harvest fest fund-raiser

The Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda chapter at Colorado Mesa University has scheduled a benefit event for children.

The Harvest Fest is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 25 in Dominguez Hall, located near the corner of Cannell and Kennedy avenues on the Grand Junction campus.

The Harvest Fest is designed to offer a safe and fun environment for children. The event will include trick-or-treating and a Halloween costume contest as well as a bean bag toss, cake walk, crawl maze, face painting, sack race and other events. Admission is $5 per child. Accompanying adults get in free.

Proceeds will benefit the FBLA-PBL and assist students participate in state and national academic competitions.
