CMU business students qualify for nationals

All 17 members of the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda chapter at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction who attended a state event qualified for additional competition at a national leadership conference in Atlanta this summer.

They are: Shania Belden, Cassidy Blake, Michael Brault, Riley Brodie, Jarrott Brown, Charles Cochran, Alyson Crandall, Olivia Gonzales, Brandon Hoff, Braydon Kearns, Jordan Lehr, Jared Robberson, Michael Saavedra, Steven Schopen, Michael Spadafora, Heather Swain and Currey Ventling.

The students qualified for the national competition by virtue of their performances in business-based tests, presentations and role playing events at the state leadership conference in Colorado Springs. The students earned a total of 31 top-three awards, including 15 first-place finishes.

Lehr, was selected vice president of the Colorado Phi Belta Lambda for the upcoming academic year.
