CMU business students to host benefit golf tournament

Registration is under way for an annual benefit golf tournament organized by the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda at Colorado Mesa University.

The annual PBL Golf Tournament is set for April 29 at Adobe Creek Golf Course in Fruita.

The tournament is open to the public. Team registration is under way through April 19. A team fee of $400 covers greens fees, two golf carts, lunch and an awards ceremony and silent auction. Hole sponsorships also are available for businesses at three levels.

To register or obtain more information, contact Riley Brodie at 819-8455 or rjbrodie@mavs.coloradomesa.edu or visit the website at www.supportingcmu.com/events.

The FBLA-PBL helps students apply what they learn in classrooms to real world situations through leadership and networking opportunities as well as volunteering and competition. Proceeds from the golf tournament will help members participate in state and national academic competitions.
