CMU business students to host harvest festival for children

The Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda chapter at Colorado Mesa University has scheduled a harvest festival for children 12 and under.

The event is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 21 in Dominguez Hall at the corner of Cannell and Bunting avenues on the Grand Junction campus. Admission is $5 a child. Accompanying adults will be admitted at no charge.

The fest will include trick-or-treating and a costume contest as well as a bean bag toss, cake walk, maze and sack race.

Proceeds from the event will help CMU students attend state and national academic competitions.
