Rick Adleman has accepted a new position at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction as associate director of development.
Adleman previously served nearly 13 years as alumni relations director.
“This is an exciting move for me personally and professionally,” Adleman said. “I’ve spent the last dozen years cultivating relationships with alumni. Now I’ll be taking the next step of guiding those alumni to invest financially in the future of CMU and its students.”
Peggy Lamm, director of development at CMU, said she’s pleased to have Adleman working in his new role. “Rick brings a depth of knowledge and experience with CMU and its constituents that will allow him to hit the ground running,” Lamm said. “Private support of CMU is becoming more important every year. Building a solid development team is critical to being successful in this effort.”
Adleman earned bachelor’s and master’s of business administration degrees from CMU. He has 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and six years of experience in private-sector marketing and sales.
