Kathleen Hall, an assistant professor of nursing at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, has been appointed to the Colorado Commission on the Aging.
Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper appointed Hall to the commission as a Green Party representative from the 3rd Congressional District. Hall succeeds Debra Kay Bailey of Grand Junction, who resigned.
The commission conducts studies and encourages other organizations to conduct studies of the problems the elderly in Colorado face. The commission also works to establish and promote programs and services for the aging and aged.
