Colorado Mesa University ranks among the top four-year colleges in Colorado, according to an analysis conducted by a website connecting students and resources.
CMU ranked sixth in the analysis by Schools.com.
Colleges were rated on a 100-point scale based on 13 criteria from government sources that included tuition and fees; number of degree programs and certificates offered; student services; and rates for graduation, retention and transfers.
Colorado State University ranked first in the analysis, followed by Metropolitan State University, the University of Northern Colorado, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and University of Colorado at Denver-Anschutz Medical Campus.
The University of Colorado at Boulder, Adams State University, Western State Colorado University and Colorado State University at Pueblo rounded out the rankings.
Schools.com also looked at the most popular degree programs in Colorado, which included associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration as well as bachelor’s degrees in accounting and associate’s degrees in nursing.
