Gavin Downey, an engineering student at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, is among 11 winners of scholarships presented by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado.
The council, a business association of 235 consulting engineering firms, awarded a total of $32,000 in scholarships to students pursuing engineering degrees.
