Colorado ranks 16th in the latest analysis of nationwide migration trends conducted by U-Haul.
U-Haul bases the ranking on one-way trucks entering and leaving the state during a calendar year. In Colorado, arrivals accounted for more than half of one-way traffic during 2018. Colorado has posted net gains in U-Haul traffic for the past four years, ranking 22nd in 2015, 11th in 2016 and ninth in 2017.
Texas and Florida ranked first and second, respectively, for 2018, followed by South Carolina, Utah and Idaho.
